    Private. Yours.

Anonymous Online Therapy & Counselling in the UK

Anonymous therapy lets you speak to a qualified UK therapist without showing your face or using your real name. It is the same regulated, confidential care you would receive in any other session — only with an extra layer of privacy.

    Who this helps

    • Feel exposed or self-conscious on video
    • Worry about being recognised by colleagues, family or community
    • Live with shame, social anxiety, or trauma that makes visibility hard
    • Hold a public-facing role and need extra discretion
    • Have hesitated to start therapy for years
    • Want a low-barrier first step into support

    What MySafeTherapy offers

    Avatar-based video sessions

Use a calming animated avatar instead of your camera. Your therapist sees the avatar and hears your voice — nothing else.

    Audio-only sessions

Voice-only therapy by secure call. No video, no screen pressure.

    Chat / text therapy

Type your sessions in a secure encrypted thread with a real, qualified therapist.

    Pseudonymous accounts

Sign up using a chosen display name. Your therapist only sees what is clinically necessary.

    UK-registered therapists

Every therapist is BACP, UKCP or HCPC registered. See our therapist standards.

    Encrypted by design

End-to-end encrypted sessions, UK GDPR compliant, never used to train AI.

    4. 4

      Begin therapy on your terms

Continue weekly or fortnightly, change therapist anytime, no questions asked.

    Safety & limitations

Anonymous therapy is for non-urgent psychological support. We may need to know how to reach you in a safeguarding emergency — this is explained transparently at sign-up. We are not a crisis service.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent emotional support call Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258. See our safety guidance and UK crisis resources.
