    My Journey

I am a BACP registered therapist, founder of MySafeTherapy, and someone who has spent years working at the intersection of people, performance, and emotional wellbeing.

My journey into therapy did not begin in a traditional way. I started my career in the corporate world, working across global environments and high-pressure roles, where I experienced first-hand the demands, expectations, and invisible emotional weight that many professionals carry. On the surface, things often appear structured and successful. Beneath that, there can be stress, burnout, self-doubt, relationship strain, and a quiet sense of disconnection that is rarely spoken about.

It was this gap between how people appear and how they actually feel that led me towards psychology and counselling.

    Therapeutic Approach

Over the years, I have trained and worked across multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My work is integrative by nature, shaped not just by theory, but by the belief that therapy should adapt to the person, not the other way around.

I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including professionals, young adults, and those navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. My areas of focus include anxiety, burnout, identity, relationships, self-worth, and the emotional impact of life transitions.

I also work closely with individuals and couples exploring identity, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ experiences, offering a space that is affirming, respectful, and free from judgement.

    Cross-Cultural Perspective

What shapes my work most is not just training, but perspective.

Having lived and worked across countries including India, the United States, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom, I bring a cross-cultural understanding to therapy. I recognise how identity, family systems, expectations, and societal pressures influence the way we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others.

    How I Work

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, without needing to filter or perform. A space where we can explore what is happening beneath the surface, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin to move towards something more grounded and sustainable.

I do not believe therapy is about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It is about developing awareness, building emotional capacity, and creating meaningful change over time.

    The MySafeTherapy Vision

Alongside my private practice, I founded MySafeTherapy with a broader vision: to make mental health support more accessible, continuous, and integrated into everyday life. I wanted to move beyond the idea of therapy as something you only turn to in crisis, and instead create a space where people can engage with their mental wellbeing more consistently, whether through therapy, self-reflection tools, or guided support.

"Everyone deserves a space where they feel safe enough to understand themselves honestly, and supported enough to grow."
